For the seventh consecutive week, Bridgestone-equipped riders swept the AMA Motocross and Motocross Lites events this past weekend at Budds Creek Motocross Park Maryland.
James Stewart, riding a Bridgestone-shod Monster Energy Kawasaki, led the entirety of both motos, taking his 13th and 14th consecutive moto victories and maintaining his perfect record for the season.
“It has been a great season,” said Stewart. “Today was a good day, and everything seemed to be working on my bike. The Bridgestone tires were great, like they have been all season. My goal from the start is an outdoor title, and I’m on the right track for that now.”
In the AMA Motocross Lites division, Ryan Villopoto, riding a Bridgestone-shod Pro-Circuit Kawasaki, also took wins in both motos, his 12th and 13th consecutive moto victories. Villopoto extended his championship lead to 103 points..
