Mike McDade once again showed everyone that he is willing to do whatever it takes to move into the professional ranks in motocross. McDade raced this weekend with a broken fibula and won the 450 Pro Sport class at High Point Raceway in Mount Morris, Pennsylvania. He sustained the injury while racing at the Red Bud Regional Qualifier. He was still on crutches only two weeks ago at the Lucas Oil AMA Motocross Nationals at High Point Raceway.

McDade is so focused on getting a ride with a professional team for the 2010 Supercross season that even a broken fibula didn't stop him from setting the fastest lap times at High Point.

In the 250 class McDade had mechanical issues with the bike and finished 7th, 5th and 4th in the three races. In the 450 class he finished 4th, 1st and 1st in his three races.

"This weekend was great. Winning the 450 class was a big surprise, I only intended to go out and qualify since my ankle is still technically healing from my crash at Red Bud a few weeks ago. I had a doctor wrap my ankle and it never bothered me all weekend. I could have done better in the 250 class, we had some technical problems with the stator on my CRF250, but my Honda CRF450 is dialed in and ready for Loretta's," commented Mike McDade.

Mike will be the 450A and 250A ProSport
classes at the upcoming Loretta Lynn's National event in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee and then racing the last four rounds of the Lucas Oil AMA Outdoor Nationals.

McDade is coming off racing the Arenacross Series for the Foremost Insurance Jim Neese Racing Team. His best finish in the Arenacross class was a second place finish in Dayton, Ohio. McDade also finished first in the Lites Class in Tulsa, Oklahoma and third in the Lites class in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
