Yamaha Motor Corporation announced its support of the 27th Annual AMA Air Nautiques Amateur National Championship Finals in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. Yamaha and its representatives will support the new Yamaha Mechanic’s Area, provide a family dinner, and give each Yamaha rider a commemorative 2008 Loretta Lynn’s pit board. The event takes place July 28 through August 2.
“Loretta Lynn’s has some of the most demanding weather conditions in amateur motocross,” said Yamaha ATV and Motocross Off-Road Manager Donnie Luce. “The extreme heat the mechanics have to endure makes it very difficult for them to support their rider. This is just the first phase of improving the mechanic's area and folks should look for it to be better each year. "
Yamaha will also be offering a family dinner for all Yamaha riders on Thursday, July 31. The dinner will feature a split menu with both spaghetti and chicken. Thirteen-time Loretta Lynn’s Champion Kevin Walker will be attending along with the entire Team Yamaha staff.
