For the first time in Rockstar Energy Drink U.S. Open history the track’s starting gate will be located outside of the MGM Grand Garden Arena. After the gate drops, the riders speed into the arena and jockey for position before jumping into the whoop section of the course.
Inside the arena, six tight and technical lanes will challenge riders for the lion’s share of $100,000 that will be paid to the winner of the two-night race. One of the most unique features of the track is the gigantic finish-line jump, which will stretch over 70 feet.
