BIKES: Cory Graffunder Closes The Pro2 Gap
Andrew DeLong and Fred Andrews Racing take top-ten and class wins at the Tennessee National Enduro.

Cory Graffunder continued his charge in the World Off Road Championship Series (WORCS) with a second place finish in the Pro 2 class and moved himself to within one point of the championship lead.
Trading laps with eventual race winner, Justin Seeds, Graffunder took his stab at leading on the Arizona Speedworld racetrack. With the endurocross section being his strongpoint, Graffunder put time on the current points leader (Ivan Ramirez) and physically led the race going into the sixth lap.
"I really felt good today," Graffunder explained, "It was really hot out here, but I was ready for it. My bike ran good and I knew exactly where I was faster on each of the technical sections of the track. We picked up a lot of points today, this is the second race in a row doing so; I am excited to finish the season strong!"
Graffunder relinquished the lead during a gas stop, and had to settle for second in the Pro2 class, but with points leader Ramirez finishing several positions behind him, the finishing order was enough to effectively close the gap in the championship. With five rounds remaining in the series, Graffunder sits only one point out of the points lead and looking forward to a strong finish in the season.
Andrew DeLong got things started early at the fourth round of the AMA Rekluse National Enduro Series. Taking a fifth place on the first special test, and following it up with a fourth on the second one, DeLong placed himself inside the top-five early in the day at the Rad Dad National Enduro.
"I had a great ride going today," Andrew explained. "I was flowing so good and my bike was awesome. The TXC310 is perfect for these enduros. It's the best combo of power and agility; I really feel like I have an advantage over everyone else!"
On the fourth special, Andrew went down and took a few moments to gather himself. "I crashed hard and lost my flow," DeLong said. "I was still going 110% but I was making little mistakes. With the talent of riders in the class, if you're a little off your game, it costs you."
DeLong stuck it out for the rest of the day and managed to keep himself inside the top ten, eventually finishing eighth overall.
FAR Husqvarna welcomed Nick Davis to the program this weekend, and with only about 20 minutes of practice on the TC250 during a muddy Saturday test loop, Davis lined up for his first race with the team. The 17-year-old used most of the day to get his new race bike dialed in, but managed to notch a 21st overall finish in the process.
"I had a fun day," Davis said. "I like the handling and power of the Husqvarna TC250 and I'm really looking forward to testing this week with the team for the GNCC in Kentucky."
Andrew and Nick weren't the only racers under the FAR tent at the Rad Dad National Enduro, as both Craig DeLong and team owner Fred Andrews recorded wins in their respective classes.
Craig (Andrew's brother) continued his dominance in the 200-B class and took another win on his WR144 - second overall B rider. Fred Andrews took the win in the highly competitive 45+ A class with an impressive 35th overall, proving that it isn't just about his Pro riders.
Country music star Craig Morgan joined the FAR team yet again for this weekend's National Enduro and finished the race despite driving all night from a show in Mississippi. Morgan finished 12th in class on his TXC310 and was grinning from ear to ear at the finish line.
The FAR Husqvarna team returns to racing this weekend in Park City, KY, where Nick Davis will make his Husky debut in the XC2 class of the GNCC series.
