RR: Pirelli Confirms Supply Of Roadracing Tires For U.S. And Canada
Pirelli is committed to servicing the North America market now and in the future with 16.5 inch racing tires.

While internet racing forums and race paddocks are buzzing about the FIM Superbike World Championship making the switch to 17” racing tires in 2013, some riders are under the impression that Pirelli will stop producing 16.5 slick and rain tires.
Jeff Johnston, Pirelli’s North America Moto Roadracing Manager states the following: “Pirelli is committed to servicing the North America market now and in the future with 16.5 inch racing tires. Our roadracing distributors stock these slick and rain tires in the latest constructions and compounds, and ‘We race what we sell and we sell what we Race.’ is consistently reinforced for this reason.
