VIRginia International Raceway, M1Entertainment, promoters of the Suzuki Big Kahuna Nationals, featuring the AMA Superbike Championship presented by Parts Unlimited, scheduled for the weekend of August 17-19 at VIRginia International Raceway, plan to offer media two-up rides on an AMA Superbike. Riding two-up on a Team Roadracingworld.com Suzuki with professional racer Chris Ulrich provides a unique insight into the speed and cornering forces generated by these machines. Chris has the skills and experience to make this a once-in-a-lifetime happening for those fortunate few who take part. The program will take place during the noon lunch break on Thursday, August 14, on the Promoter Practice date for the race weekend. Always a major hit with the passengers, this opportunity gives journalists a close-up look at the track from a completely different viewpoint.
A chase bike is used on the track at the same time, giving guests and your audience a better feel for the track and the sport.
Last year, all riders came back from the track with smiles and deeper comprehension of the total concentration needed by these star racers. To have your name put on the list for the ride, please RSVP with your name, affiliation and contact information by the credential request deadline of August 1.
All safety gear (leathers, helmets, gloves, boots) will be provided, or you can bring your own race-worthy gear.
Thanks, and we look forward to seeing you in August.
