Three years of talking has left Dani Pedrosa impatient with Honda.

Three years of talking has left Dani Pedrosa impatient with Honda. Now in his fourth year at Honda, Pedrosa's frustration has not been calmed by a strong second place to Valentino Rossi in the Spanish GP at Jerez.

Pedrosa knows that is not enough to deliver his MotoGP world championship ambitions. And for Honda the pressure is mounting to deliver on their promise of a race-winning bike for the little Spaniard.

He is still riding a bike that is close to the specification on which he completed the 2008 season and then began prototype testing for 2009 with an upgraded engine and weight distribution. But not one performance part of any value has been delivered by Honda in four months.

“If I really see something then maybe yes, I can keep my trust in Honda," Pedrosa said. "But words are not important and I’ve seen nothing. They have had a clear direction from me from a long, long time ago"

But he says that HRC vice-president Shuhei Nakamoto is just another in a long line of Japanese management who have offered words, not action.

“I’ve spoken to (Nakamoto) but I’ve spoken to many people like him, but it seems like it’s three years of the same story," Pedrosa said. "What I really need is to see is some things coming, not always just hearing, talking, or a meeting. I’d like to have something where I can say okay, thank you, this is good."

Pedrosa says the critical issue with the RC212V is to upgrade the chassis and handling to match the Bridgestone control tires.
