Valentino Rossi has fallen in love with the Isle of Man circuit, but not even $10 million would entice him to race flat-out in the famous TT race.

Rossi's lap of the legendary 37-mile (60 km) road course on 8 June, in company with Giacomo Agostini at this year's TT, was "incredibly emotional" but he says could not bring himself to race the IoM TT.

Speed and money are an integral part of the life of the world's highest paid and most famous bike racer but not even $10 million would be enough.

“Ten million dollars is important, and if it was possible to ride at 75% then it's possible I would try," Rossi said. "But when you make a real race you know you have to go full. And to go full on that course is too dangerous for me.

"Most of the time you’re doing more than 200kph so if you make a mistake you are finished.

"But I would like to go back and make five or six laps and learn the track more, but for a real race I think it’s too dangerous."
