PROGRAMMING NOTE: The MotoGP season finale from Valencia will air on SPEED on Sunday, November 8th at 6:00pm ET, immediately following coverage of the 250GP race.

The rider market is settled for 2010 but it is now team management moves that will be center stage during this weekend's Valencia Grand Prix.

Although the rumors have been denied for months, Ducati have announced that team boss Livio Suppo is leaving after this weekend's final race.

The new rumors swirling in Valencia are that Suppo's new home could be the factory Honda team with Ducati only saying that
Suppo is embarking on a "new professional challenge."

The management of the Ducati MotoGP Team will now be entrusted to Alessandro Cicognani, currently marketing manager for the Ducati Corse Division while Vittoriano Guareschi, already the test rider for Ducati, will undertake the role of Team Manager.

Under Suppo's management Ducati signed Casey Stoner and won the 2007 world championship although Italian media sources have claimed for months that tensions between Stoner and Suppo were becoming unmanageable.

Ducati have not commented on these scenarios.
