9. Assen

Jorge Lorenzo was taken out in the race's opening corner by an out-of-control Alvaro Bautista, allowing Casey Stoner move back into an early-season tie for the title lead after tracking down and zapping teammate Dani Pedrosa for the win.

8. Qatar

Jorge Lorenzo opened his title-winning season in fine style, racing down '11 champ from more than two seconds back to claim the lead and then successfully fended off Dani Pedrosa to the checkered flag.

7. Estoril

For the second straight race, Casey Stoner repelled a late charge from rival Jorge Lorenzo to make up for his opening race collapse under the lights in Qatar. After his Estoril triumph the Aussie boasted a premier-class win at every Grand Prix circuit.

6. Silverstone

Jorge Lorenzo and Casey Stoner gave the British fans a thrilling fight at the front from which the Spaniard ultimately broke free to claim a third-straight win.
