SX: Canard Injured, Surgery Possible
The luckless Trey Canard is facing possible surgery after suffering yet another injury.

PROGRAMMING NOTE: Round 3 of the Monster Energy Supercross Lites West Championship from Los Angeles, CA will air on SPEED Monday, January 23 at 12:00pm ET. #SXonSPEED

Team Honda Muscle Milk rider Trey Canard was involved in a crash on the opening lap of last night’s Supercross event at Dodger Stadium. Canard injured his back in the incident, and an MRI this morning showed fractures the doctors are evaluating. Canard has 100-percent feeling in his legs, and is currently (Sunday) awaiting the decision by his doctors as to whether or not his injury requires surgery.

American Honda will release additional news on Canard’s condition as it becomes available.
