SX LITES: Barcia Remains Perfect
GEICO Honda's Justin Barcia continued his Supercross Lites East domination with a third consecutive lopsided win Saturday night in St. Louis.

Following two straight dominating efforts from defending Supercross Lites East Region Champion Justin Barcia to open this year's title fight, it was postulated that perhaps only Red Bull/KTM's Ken Roczen was capable of defeating Barcia in a straight fight, provided he finally got a good start.

Well, the German got that start in St. Louis, exiting Turn 1 right on the heels of his rival, but the end result was still the same. Barcia felt precious little pressure from second before he broke the pursuit of Roczen and the rest of the pack, once again walking away at the front en route to a third-consecutive mammoth victory.

Roczen, meanwhile, did feel the pressure from behind, hounded mercilessly by Barcia's young GEICO Honda teammate, Justin Bogle throughout the 15-lap Main Event. However, it all went wrong for Bogle on the race's final lap as he crashed looking to make a run on second position and then promptly fell again while attempting to remount and re-enter the fray in a hurried fashion.

As a result of Bogle's misfortunate, Rockstar Suzuki's Blake Wharton assumed the final spot on the podium to back up his Heat Race victory from earlier in the evening program.

Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki's Darryn Durham also took full advantage, stealing away fourth after fighting up through the field following a poor start.

Bogle finally managed to get back on his wheels and rounded out the top five.

Meanwhile, Durham's teammate, Blake Baggett suffered a setback after his Atlanta rebound, the preseason title favorite finishing all the way down in ninth position.

Barcia will take a quick 18-point advantage into next weekend's Daytona Supercross where he'll look to up his perfect season start to fourth straight wins.
