SX: Power Rankings - San Diego
Thanks to his second win of the season taken last weekend in San Diego, Davi Millsaps has cemented his spot atop the rankings.

6. Chad Reed (Last Week: 5 / -1)
For three straight weeks Mr. Consistency has found himself on the ground. Reed is getting faster and he looked poised to grab his first win last weekend after putting a lot of pressure on Millsaps. However, he’s been hit with bad luck and can’t seem to get anything going his way right now. I can’t possibly imagine the amount of frustration the former champ is feeling, but I’d imagine he’s going to show it with an all-out assault this weekend inside the very same stadium that his season came to a premature end in last year.
7. James Stewart (Last Week: 8 / +1)
Stewart is heading in the right direction as the season hits the indoor part of the schedule. While he’s still in search of his first podium of the year, his back-to-back fourth-place finishes are a sign that he will only get better as the season goes on. Bubba will be someone to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.
8. Andrew Short (Last Week: 7 / -1)
Short had his worst finish since starting his own team a few weeks ago. The San Diego track was tough on a lot of riders, including Short. Considering his circumstances, Short has no doubt seen great success with Team Twenty9 and he will either continue to improve or get picked up by another team as the weeks wear on.
9. Justin Brayton (Last Week: 9 / No Change)
Brayton was in the thick of the battle between Dungey, Villopoto, Stewart, Reed, and Canard in San Diego. He held his ground against the group, showing that he’s feeling confident aboard hit JGR machine. Brayton continues to improve each week and could soon become a challenger for the top five.
10. Broc Tickle (Last Week: Not Ranked)
Tickle becomes the newest member of the Power Rankings after a decent night in San Diego that moved him to 10th in the championship in the absence of an injured Jake Weimer. Tickle looks like he still might be acclimating to the Suzuki, but he did get a chance to run up front with the leaders in the early portion of last week’s main event.
