JGR Yamaha's Justin Brayton secured his best result of the season, finishing in the final spot on the top five. He was followed to the flag by Team Honda Muscle Milk's Justin Barcia, who managed a decent result in sixth following what was a relatively rocky evening for the rookie.

Barcia's teammate, Trey Canard, fought his way to seventh, while Matt Goerke, Andrew Short, and Broc Tickle completed the top ten.

James Stewart's hard luck season continued in head-shaking fashion Saturday night. JS7 looked to be in amazing form on the evening, tracking down and overhauling Villopoto to win his heat. However, Stewart was then unable to make the Main Event start when his Yoshimura Suzuki suffered a clutch issue while sitting on the gate awaiting the start.

Millsaps now boasts an expanded 21-point advantage over Dungey heading into his home race next weekend in Atlanta. Villopoto sits a bit closer now in third, 24 points back.
