Wilson and Tomac are destined to be stars in the sport, and in just a short amount of time, each has become familiar with winning on a professional level. While they are similarly committed to excelling, Wilson and Tomac’s styles couldn’t be more different, which just adds to the hype of this impending showdown.
Wilson is a laid back, fun loving rider who is willing to show some flair when riding, never shy to throw in a whip when the opportunity presents itself. Wilson is fast and smooth, but he also has an extra dash of style, and that's helped him rise to become on of the most popular young stars of the sport.
Tomac sits at the other end of the spectrum. The quiet and unassuming rider is dedicated to his craft, possessing a hard-nosed approach to the sport that was surely instilled by his successful father, John, a legend in his own right in the mountain bike racing world. While Wilson looks effortless, Tomac attacks the track and is more than willing to grind out a strong effort.
The approach taken by these two riders might be different, but it still results in the same outcome -- raw speed, aggressiveness, and an unrelenting will to win. The divergent styles have both proven successful, but it’s only a matter a time before we all find out which will prevail.
