Out on the track, what do you think helps give you an advantage? As an onlooker, you appear to maintain momentum better than anyone on the track.

I think it's knowing how much you can push at any given time or on any given obstacle. I am not willing to do something completely crazy to take a win. I am pretty calculated, and take only the risks I know I can handle.

What’s next for you? What new goals have you set for yourself?

I don’t have any specific goals as far as records or anything -- just want to win some more titles.

Have you achieved all the dreams you had as a kid?

Well, had my dream been to be a Supercross and motocross star, and win titles I would have to say yes. But, to be honest, I didn’t really dream of being a racer. I just wanted to not have to have some normal nine-to-five day job and have a family. So yes, I guess you could say I have.

What are your thoughts on the amount of injuries this season? How did that affect your approach each week?

Well, it’s a real bummer that everyone got hurt after such a good season last year. But, part of racing is being able to last the grueling 17 round series, it's not just being the fastest. You have to be the most prepared and outlast the series.

Looking ahead to outdoors, who or what do you think will be your biggest challenge?

Well, not sure who is all racing for sure, but (Ryan) Dungey will be fast as always and I am sure there will be others that step it up.
