With all-new cars, new drivers, including American Joey Hand, and the return of BMW after a 20-year hiatus, this weekend's DTM season-opener in Hockenheim is shaping up to be one of the most highly anticipated races in the German championship's history.

Gear up for Sunday's race (8 a.m. ET, Live! SPEED2) with a preview taking a look at this year's contenders, including reigning ALMS GT champion Hand, who becomes the first full-time American driver in DTM history, piloting the No. 2 BMW Team RMG M3 DTM.
