IMPWS6 ===lay the crack pipe down!!===
Its EVO's own fault by deciding to go OFF COURSE, IF he had any brain neurons working he should have walked to area where he planned to drive BEFORE the challenge and he would promptly see the cement block!
I LOVE to see and EXPECT cars to get damaged/wrecked in the challenges...dont want scratch your "baby" stay out of the competition!
SpeedTV should pay for the Evo and the Dart

i believe they should replace his car, that is a nice expensive car! and no way they lost to team dart in that challenge, they decided to kick them off the show becoz their car was totalled! i was really rooting for them! can't believe they're gone, i don't wanta watch the show anymore. but i wonder wat team VW will whine and complain about now since team EVO is gone! hmmmm...im sure they'll find something, that seems to be the only thing they're good at .

Why should Bullrun/Speed replace the Evo, they were walked throughout the course and told what route to take, its their own fault.
Its like if someone flipped their car on a highway due to showing off/racing should the state pay for the car? I think not
Paul said its was stupid and not smart what he did, he took the responsibility of his action and it would never be Speed/Bullrun fault.............You are acting like those dumb people that burn themselves with coffee and they sue the coffee joint because they served it "to hot"
From what the other Bullrun guys said, Evo took awhile to put on helmets and that was timed also.

Ok...does anyone think maybe...just maybe it's not as cut and dry as the show makes it seem? The one guy who owned the EVO seemed genuinely shocked that those concrete blocks were there. He clearly didn't blame the driver (as evidenced by the hug afterward). Supposedly he told one of the members of Team Avalanche that he was "gonna run it out straight." Why is there no clip of Team Avalanche saying that? Only people who hated the EVO guys saying that it was said 3rd person... There is no getting around the fact that ultimately the contestants are responsible for what happens to them... However, doesn't Bullrun have an obligation not to put them in situations where they could get seriously hurt by making a relatively minor mistake? Finally, just look at the runs...there is no way that EVO was slower than the dart. The dart looks like he's driving Miss Daisy through the course...it's pretty clear that the owner of the EVO blamed Bullrun for his accident. To protect themselves from liability, they kicked them off the show and ran a half-hour hit job on their case. Love the show, but they are responsible for replacing the car and any bodily injuries suffered by these amateur (remember, these are not professionals, they will make mistakes) drivers which occur while participating in the show. On the other hand, the dart guy did that on his own time doing something completely unsanctioned...it's on him. Curiously though...he was way more wrong...where was the 10 minute segment of drivers saying how wrong and stupid he was?
Great post. The producers definitely had an agenda the way that show was edited. I would love to see the raw footage of the EVO and the Dart in the challenge because there is no way the Dart was faster by 2 seconds.

What happened in this episode is like what happened in season 1 with Team F-150, they knew a block wall was at the end of the challenge but he still choose to do what he did

and the result was that he destroyed the front end and it took a day or two to fix it

I love to see all of the armchair qb's. Maybe youguys are the kind of people that would let someone cheat.. (Yes speeding is the 1 rule) And be too scared to say anything.
Dont be jealous. Just try to get on next season.. That is if you have the car or the personality.

I wouldn't be bragging about your personality if I were you.

Not only do I not think that SPEED should replace the Evo, I think the camera man who was at the finish line expecting the car to follow the designated course has the right to put his foot through what's left of any glass on that car. maybe even hit the driver with a few chucks of broken airdamn too! Through the whole competition team EVO seems to h ave little regard for rules, respect, or common courtesy. Maybe Goldberg didn't feel it was his place to give their head a shake, but the concrete stood is ground,, good for you mr. Block I say. As for the Dart, it's a crying shame such a beautiful machine got all beat up from pointless farting around but there is an upside to it. 1. at least this happened on a closed course, not some jackhole farting around on public roadways. 2. I'd rather see it getting rolled while burning up tires than having it rolled up a ramp as another trailer queen at a car show.

I have no doubt that the EVO was actually slower than the Dart. THE FREAKIN AVALANCHE WAS FASTER THAN THE EVO. I have only watched the one episode, but it was painfully obvious that the wheelman of the EVO was an inexperienced poseur. The 60' of the dart was quicker than that EVO, IN DIRT, and the Dart was wearing what, 20's? I am suprised the EVO made it as far as it did.
