They are called wheels not "rims". Rims are for bicycles.

Did you pass 1st grade? Rims are rims dude. On a car or on a bike.

No one is ever more wrong than when telling someone else THEY are wrong.........incorrectly.

Maybe bicycles have rims, I have no idea.

But cars have wheels.

Actually they are pretty much the exact same thing, and they are interchangeable in this case.

Wheel = a circular frame of hard material that may be solid, partly solid, or spoked and that is capable of turning on an axle

Rim = the outer part of a wheel joined to the hub usually by spokes ; a removable outer metal band on an automobile wheel to which the tire is attached

Definitions are from Merriam-Webster.

Almost exactly the same thing, except, the 'rim' is part of the 'wheel'............

Whatever you wish to call them, MWR cars with the chrome rims are the sharpest looking cars on the track.

Read here they are wheels

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alloy_wheel

The outer circle that the tire is mounted to is the rim, the rim, spokes, and center make a wheel.

Go to any car site Chevy, Ford, whatever make you like.. the option is for alloy wheels not alloy rims.

Find me any creditable website that calls them rims

Just listen to any Snoop Dog, Z-Jay, or Small Biggie rap. That's where kids today get their information.

Wow this reminds me of the motor vs engine debate!

Maybe because there is no debate. Cars have engines, electrically powered devices have motors.

Cars also have wheels, which include the rim.........
