A couple of weeks ago my family was doing spring cleaning and we came across some "old" race programs that i got. The oldest one i have is from 1996 ( i know it isn't that old.) from the Busch Series Corstates Advantage 200 down in Nazareth. Just wondering what is the oldest race programs you guys have? I get them at each race i've ever been to, which is kinda sad too.

The oldest race that I actually taped from TV that I still have now is the 1997 Mountain Dew Southern 500, and on the same tape, the following race at Richmond.

This is a fun thread. I have a bunch of old 1980's tapes of monster truck racing, a late 80's CART race from Road America, old trans-am stuff from when Tommy Kendall and Chris Kneifel were teammates on the ICI team in 1990 and I also stumbled upon a tape of Paul Tracy racing in 1989 or 1990 in what was then called the American Racing Series, or what was later known as Indy Lights. Lot's of great, random stuff. But since I was only born in '85 the oldest tapes I have are only going to be from the late 80's anyways.

The oldest race tape i got really isn't a race, remember American Sports Cavilcade with Steve Evans, well they made two specials called And They Walked Away 1 and 2. It was basically the worst crashes in the different racing series that Diamond P Sports would cover. Middle of the 1980's to early 90's i'm talking.

well, if your talking about programs(as in handouts)it would be from the 1932 indianapolis 500. if you mean taped or dvd it would be the 1978 michigan 200.
