One of the ideas brought up in the Town Hall chat, was to try a weekend long chat, then having it "open" for any racing. This Chat will include all series that are racing this weekend.
So, this weekend will have Nascar(both Cup and N-wide), F1 and IndyCar.
In this sticky we are looking to see where the interest for chats are (i.e. Practice, Quals, the Race, 2 of the 3, all 3, etc.)

Since this is in the Nascar section, please keep the interest to Nascar.

Also as noted in the other Sticky I have posted, we have gotten some forum members to step up and help these chats, but we still need more help. If you are interest, send me a PM, and I will help you get everything set up.

This weekend can't be a success without input from you guys!

Do you just want to chat during the Cup race? what about during Qualifying? or the Nationwide race?
If this is successful enough to keep it going, on a normal weekend, would you like Chats during just the races(trucks, N-wide, and Cup) Quals and race?

It has been my experience with chat, that its better to have it open all the time. I can understand that here it would really need to be moderated, I would suggest that you find some trusted members to help Mod the chats.But if its not a 24/7 chat I would think that during and after all races/qual would be good.

Me I dont chat much during the races, but more before and after the race..

Just some ground Rules for the weekend chats:

Since this chats are a looser format that normal, the chats can venture off, from the main series(at the time) so talking about more than one series is allowed. However, any derogatory remarks made about any series in that chat, that would be considered trolling if they were posted in that series section on the boards are not allowed. These comments will be dealt with appropriately.

Ex. " I am not a fan of Series X"-Allowed
"F### Series X"-Not Allowed

I must admit that it was nice to have the chat in just about real time. No refresh issues.

I intended to show up for more than just the Nationwide race but between oversleeping for F1 qualifying, being elsewhere for the Cup race and avoiding the Speed homepage and its F1 spoilers during the IRL race, I didn't manage.

Enjoyed the chat during the Nationwide race though and if it's open again next weekend I'll plan on being there.
