ALRIGHT ALREADY with the Castrol GTX commercial. I decided to NEVER buy Castrol just because of the repetition of this commercial!
it's just another in a long line of their ads aimed at the "pinks" crowd.
all the while insulting the intellect of the rest of us while we're tuned in to the few times that they actually broadcast races.
i'll never by the product again either !!!

I've used Mobil 1, Redline, Motul, and Amsoil and had oil analysis done to objectively compare whilest maintaining the same distances and driving aggressiveness. I recommend that you try it , just to see whether your Mobil 1 is living up to the hype.
Did your supercomputer pick a winner yet?

I have no problem with Castrol GTX; I've used it for years with good results. But don't insult me or anyone else with more than a smidgeon of intelligence with mindless ads that say little about the quality of the product.
PINKS crowd, your ad is ready.

I've used Castrol Syntec in almost all of my vehicles since it came out and have been ---extremely--- happy with it.
Before that,I used Castrol GTX exclusively.
I did use Mobil One in a 2000 Toyota Echo that helped it return over 40 mpg tankfuls of gas but I heard some engine noises and returned to Syntec.
Since then my mileage has gone down slightly but the engine has been quieter and the car still runs like a bat out of hell after 150,000 miles.
Castrol contracts out it's advertising ads like all other companies and it has pained me greatly to see the nonsense that has been placed on tv to promote what is a fantastic engine protection oil.
But nonsense gets the buyers attention and that's why that particular ad company does what they do.
Castrol has allowed me to just run the crxp out of my cars without fear.
It's a great motor oil.

It's a shame that Castrol's marketing department doesn't have the same level of skill at their jobs as does the engineering department.

Castrol isn't the only company that runs bad commercials into the ground. I am ready for chicken fried gecko.
