All the races from Oct 4th and Oct 11th are readily availble - they're offered for "free", too.

From my source, as I haven't gotten to see them as of yet, the online coverage is better than what we watched on TV last year.

I found that online last night, but I still would rather watch them on TV. I never watch anything on my computer (youtube aside, of course).
On the flip side, I think the SCCA Runoffs have been offered on DVD previously. If they do that, this year, I might grab a set.

I've been bummed out all year about no Star Mazda or Atlantics and now you're telling me there won't be any Runoffs on TV???
Surely they will at least show the TDI Cup again? It started showing on Oct. 26th last year so it would need to be coming up soon.
As most of you know we only got a one hour highlights show for DTM last year. Wonder if we'll even get that?
A1GP, BTCC, V8 Supercars, FIA GT, European Le Mans, MX-5, Cascar, etc. weren't around last year so no reason to ever expect them coming back I guess.
I'd love to see what the Winter 1999 schedule looked like for Speedvision.

Wait! They aren't showing the SCCA Runoffs this year?!The SCCA Runoff's were shown LIVE on http://www.SpeedCastTV.com Commentary was provided by Elliott Forbes-Robinson and Rob Howden, with John Bisigano as the pit reporter. The races are being put up on the site as 'On Demand'. The Friday and Saturday races are currently available and the Sunday races will be available on October 18, 2009. If Speed were doing it we would be waiting for the 6th Tuesday in January at 2430 Zulu.

It was awesome up until 2005 or so.
Since then, it is like they have been chipping away at my heart one morsel at a time.

^ Not on TV, just on SPEED's website.
Seriously, what kind of channel does Speed want to be/become? This is rather pathetic.
I have asked the same thing, and the answer is "Profitable". Evidently, the average American would rather not watch racing. I thought that is why there are more than one channel. But since there are more non-race fans than there are race fans, we lose.
More like the number of people who refuse to look past NASCAR for their definition of racing. Racing is not some equivalent of basketball or baseball; just as there are variations in the cars we drive, so there are variations in racing.
The other is the current public taste in televison. Look at how faux-reality shows are just now.

The SCCA Runoffs were shown last year in December and January. And I recorded at least 98% of the classes they aired onto dvd. And don't ask me for copies cause I will not make any! Sorry guys, but just keep looking at the schedule for December and January and maybee we will be seeing them again.
