So they don't even claim the rest of the season will go forward at this point!

I think its safe to say that they won't be holding any races in Surfers Paradise in the future. The local government invested $11.6 million dollar for the race and now they are screwed. I don't see A1GP repaying them no matter what the press release says. I have my doubts the series will hold a race ever again, they have debts outstanding from all sides that haven't been paid.

To be honest I don't know who in their right mind would fund it - to this point all the series has done is burn money faster than gasoline.

Get the fork, stick it in, they are done!
