Good to see what so many of us thought would happen, actually has. Rubens will be an excellent teamate and mentor for the young Nico. Now it will be up to Williams to give them a top notch car.

Had it not been for Button's earlier wins, it would undoubtedly be Barrichello's title, but great job for Jenson Button, he deserves it. About Williams "making" Schumi, it was Schumacher's job to get the title & defend it as many times as possible.

I, for one, will be sad to see Rubino going to a second tier team. I was really hoping he could win it this year and then just retire. I hope Williams has a miracle next year like Braun did this year.

Wait a min, Williams may not be a second-tier team next year, if they go back to the Cosworth 2.4L V8 they used in 2006, that engine was the most powerful on track, and with the aero the teams are running for next year, they may be a force to be reckoned with.. Can't say they will win the championship, but don't be surprised if Rubino isn't towards the top of the standings. We shall, but I wouldn't write them in as favorites, but don't write them off either.

Would have to agree with you dgrblue, It's impossible to write off a team till they show us what they have, or haven't got. Only next season will tell us, and untill then, no team can be can considerd second rate, since we don't know who is first rate.
