F1 drivers are over rated, and if we flushed every driver in 2009, 2010 wouldn't miss a beat. We've seen the "great" drivers fail because of the car, the same is true when a okay driver gets into a superior car, he wins. Ask Button.

I would tend to disagreed Roundlegs, Jenson worked long and hard in F1, and when he finally got a car that wasn't a dog, he proved what many over the years saw in him. His talent showed thru, and he deserved the win.

I think 2010 would suffer big time! It is truly the car and driver combination. Without the drivers you might as well call it quits. Might as well make 'em radio controlled. I thought 2009 was pretty exciting.

The last three season have been great. I have no ill will towards Schumi, he is a great talent, but those seasons where he wrapped up the wdc halfway through were not nearly as fun. 2010 would absolutely suffer. Part of what makes it exciting season to season as drivers change teams is that you can really get a feel for their skill level when they drive different cars. How many times have we said things in this forum about how "so-&-so is a great driver in a crappy car, look what he did when he had a better car" and so on. Plus, it's fun to have a driver you like and follow faithfully.

I understand that racers need big egos to survive, but this guy takes the cake.
