I'll only be rooting for one Ferrari next year. I actually hope Kimi gets the McLaren seat and sticks it to them.

This has been bothering me all season so here comes my therapy...
As a fan of the Maranello gang I am deeply disturbed by their actions of late. I was just speaking with my better half and saying it out loud really opened my eyes to the denial I was in. Quite simply I think Ferrari is doomed by signing FA. I can not see his attitude improving from his past actions at McLaren and Renault.
I really want to continue to be a fan but the fact is that FA is the dog that eventually turns on his owner. Sooner or later he will bite Ferrari and they will be stuck looking for a good driver with a better attitude.
It is a shame they have given up on Kimi like they have. Kimi took a dog of a car and raced til the bitter end. Even after SF abandon him. does anyone think FA would do that? There is no way I can see that. There is no way I can see FA playing well with Massa. Once the trouble starts what will Ferrari do? I see a return to the dark years.
Ok done venting, Good luck Ferrari but I think I'll be changing camps soon, I guess I really have become part of the Formula1 culture, I'll become a fan of the team willing to pay me the most and have no allegiance to any team or driver.
Feel free to start routing for the Silver Arrow. They'll give you virtual cash whatever amount you want.

I just don't see the depth in the Ferrari team to allow FA to do what MS did back in '96. W/O Brawn the remnant of that team's greatness is depleted. Marginally the F60 was a better car than the Renault but not by much more than a slightly better KERS system. Kimi and Felipe carried that lump of a car this year and even worse, Ferrari failed to develop the car while McLaren moved onward and upward with the latest MP4 derivative. In my view, the expectations for next year are probably set too high and the frustration is not something FA has born well in the past. He and Massa have some history that has already boiled over before they were even teammates. Look for more warfare when they are at opposite ends of the same non-competitive garage in 2010. { have been and will be a Ferrari fan over the years, but I don't look for lots of success next year. I would love to be surprised next year but the recent events don't point in that directon. FA is not the answer; he's more of a question mark to me, talented or not.

Seriusly..
you look like a Hamilton and a ITV or BBC fan.. Please.. read before writing here.. put Alonso situation in Mclaren in google.
Weeks ago Martin Whitmarsh said it was TEAM fault.. dont came here and lie..
In Italy they are waiting for FA because Massa and Raikko couldnt win and develop anything.. Kimi was WDC just because Mclaren situation
Ron Dennis in Brazil "Our enemy is no kimi, its Alonso".
If Lewis did not cry in Monaco and Hungary we'll now have a 3 or 4 WDC.
Same thing happen this year with Button and Barrichelo, rubbens got cheated by his own team.. in Brazil he probably had the chance to win that race but in the pit stop "something" happen to his car..

No, I think his improvements started with his experiences when he was at McLaren and continued through his 2 years at Renault. I think Fernando is stronger mentally today, because he is unlikely to make broad assumptions about his position on a team, nor underestimate his team-mate and opponents. I think his expectations were that McLaren would be fully supportive of his 3rd WDC (maybe even thought he would have PDLR as his team-mate) and that he could not imagine being challenged by a rookie, without even a year of F1 testing. Those expectations of course proved to be wrong and when the realities of a situation do not meet with expectations, conflict ensues. Because of his experience at McLaren I think he is better able to meet the challenges of a Ferrari team structure and a formidable opponent in Massa.
At Renault Fernando was re-introduced to the back of the grid, and an ill-handling car. Just as I think Hammy has benefitted from his struggles at McLaren this year, I think Alonso (already fast) has improved his on track abilities through his constant need to battle in close quarters. I now see Alonso as a more formidable racer than ever.

Seriously, you seem to be an anti-Brit. Try to understand what happened before writing here. Don't come here and lie.
What Whitmarsh said was that he regretted Alonso's departure and that McLaren could have handled the situation better.
In Brazil, nothing happened to Rubens' car in the pit. His drop down the order was due to a puncture he got in a racing incident with Hamilton. In any case, even before the puncture, he wasn't going to win that race; the Red Bulls were faster than the Brawns on the day.
