I just hope they don't make it official on Thursday at say 2:30pm.
I hope she does. Maybe then people who think she is the "Savior of the Indycar Series" will see her for what she really is.

You know I think the Lady is a joke of a driver, but She has the right and its the smart thing to do, to go make all the money she can.

She's such an idiot.
From a economic and financial standpoint - I think she's really smart. Plus for some reason I feel this "Danica era" is coming to a close mostly if she doesn't start winning or at least match '09's results. Maybe I'm being too pessimistic? Too optimistic?

Well Danica better have 3 stand out years with AGR in open wheel and do a respectable job in Nationwide or nobody is going to think twice about her. I still can't picture her doing 36 races if she gets up to Sprint.
Though I find it great timing that this story comes out the day before IZOD and other announcements are scheduled.

from the latest article on speedtv.com:
"Patrick will race for JR Motorsports with backing from GoDaddy.com in a two-year deal that could be finalized in a matter of days, sources said. She will continue to drive full-time in the IndyCar Series, where her three-year contract extension with Andretti-Green Racing is expected to be announced in early December. ESPN first reported the JR Motorsports deal on Wednesday. "

Danica is not doing anything that Honda, and other participants are doing already. Covering her bases. If things go badly for the ICS, she will have a plan in place and maybe a ride that keeps her, and her brand, in the spotlight. Heck, she may even find she is BETTER with tin tops than open wheel.

Nascar is a marketing machine. Danica has been using sex appeal card for sometime, but when you use that card their is a shelf life. Most actors and models hit the same road. She is married and she is going to be 30 in a couple years. If you look in the feeder series more attractive women are in waiting. I am sure that Nascar doesn't want a series of women. Because she has spent more attention selling herself I think she missed the boat on working on her racing skill. After she makes the move to Nascar, I think that will be the last of her career. There is also the detail of becoming pregnant, that could be another blow in her racing career coffin. Atleast her career is not as bad as K. Legge, next year she is going to be the only driver with a older car on her team of 5, I feel bad for her, she was moved up to soon and it just kept getting worse from there.

She's got a tough row ahead in NASCAR. Woman or not, their series has become a competitive joke. 80% of the field is 9 miles off the top teams.

I am not sure I am getting your meaning, NASCAR is a Joke, for competition?
