March 7th, 1935: Sir Malcolm Campbell guides his five-ton Bluebird down the sands of Daytona Beach at 276.82 mph in a record speed run. The historic event marks the close of speed trials on the Daytona Beach shore.

March 7th, 1993: Davey Allison leads all but four of the final 157 laps and cruises to an easy win at Richmond. It would be the last win in Davey's career.

March 7th, 1999: Jeff Burton passes his brother Ward with 10 laps remaining and wins at Las Vegas. The siblings battle side-by-side for five laps before Jeff passes Ward. Mike Skinner takes the lead in the Nascar point standings with a fourth place finish.

March 12th, 2006: Jimmie Johnson wins his second straight at Las Vegas after a last lap pass of Matt Kenseth in turn four. The two finish the race side by side with Johnson ahead.
